Blue-boned muscle that cracks a crab like a nut

The blackspot tuskfish is a heavyweight of the wrasse family — blue-green and dense, with the dark blotch near the back that gives it its name and a set of tusks built for crunching through shell and coral rubble. They hold over reef edges and broken ground, and once hooked they bury hard, testing tackle and resolve in equal measure. A prized fish on the plate and a respected one on the line.

We hand-paint the tuskfish to bring out that blue-green sheen and the working jaw that makes it what it is. Honest, species-accurate art for the people who target them — across tees, keychains, charms and stickers.
