Black saddles, yellow fins — the trout you don't forget.

The "footballer" is the unmistakable colour phase of the bluespotted coral trout — clean white flanks broken by bold black saddles and finished with yellow fins, like a guernsey pulled over a reef predator. They patrol the outer Great Barrier Reef and seaward slopes, ambush hunters that combine speed with serious presence. To anyone who's seen one materialise out of the blue, the name needs no explaining.

We hand-paint the footballer phase in detail because that pattern is the whole point — the contrast, the saddles, the yellow. It's one of the boldest designs in the range, and it wears like it: tees, keychains, charms and stickers built for people who actually know the fish.
